A
medium sized front garden with a makeover. Previously just grass and a couple of borders, it has been transformed
with raised beds, an arch, paving & pebbles and a huge Connemara feature stone.
|
 |
This
cottage looks like it's always been there, but it was designed
and built by P.L.S. to create a country theme. Note the careful
selection of plants. Different textures, colours and flowering
times are all important |
 |
One of the more popular requests recently has been for decking. With our desire to provide
quality at good value we have negotiated favourable rates with a local supplier for Western red
cedar. Call us and we can design and install your deck. |
 |
A wide range of materials have been used to give this garden a new dimension. Low maintenance
is essential, but by careful planning character has been given to this plain back garden. |
 |
Here you will notice a more striking style of landscaping. The bold contrast between the
black railway sleepers and the gold flint is accented by the glazed blue pot. This is
softened by the millstone water feature and lush planting. The Sperrin boulders and 10mm
gravel make a fantastic alpine bed. |
 |
One of the more recently released paving programs, this is Bradstone Old Cathedral. The paving slabs
come in five different sizes and three colours. Naturally they each have an individual stone effect
finish. The lattice screens are a compliment to the paving. |
 |
This corner of the garden had been sloped, boggy, hard to cut and unusable. By building a
step using reclaimed red brick, we were able to level the site and make a lovely feature
patio using Bradstone Weathered York Weatherdale paving. It has quite a rippled effect,
but is very effective, especially when tied together with the red brick and rustic gravel. |
 |
Paving is not something which we often take on unless it is part of a complete landscape, however
Bradstone paving is particularly impressive and is the only range of paving we are satisfied to supply.
Here you see the "Old Town" half circle and irregularly sized pavers. This gives a high quality finish. |
 |
We had the opportunity to redesign the whole front approach to this house. We have used reclaimed
cobbles as an edge to the drive, Bradstone paving around the immediate front, edged by railway sleepers.
Different materials, textures, colours and levels all make this garden more interesting
- and easier to maintain. |
 |
Another small garden where the grass has been removed for lower maintenance. The raised
beds make gardening, and enjoying the plants much easier. The old railway sleepers give an interesting
theme, but set in different ways prevent going too heavy on the design. |
